Connie Morgan - Therapist That Became a Writer

Dear Edward, by Ann Napolitano, would not be a book I would recommend to anyone who is afraid of flying. This book is about twelve-year-old Edward, who is the sole survivor of a plane crash that took his mother, father, and his beloved older brother. You get to know Edward and his family, along with the other passenger, as the structure of the book takes you back and forth in chapters during the hours before the crash and then to Edward’s life after. Edward struggles with coming to terms with his losses and to make sense of what occurred after the media made him an anomaly.
